SNAFU Windows 7 SP1 kb976932

Looks like the Windows Service Guy (WSG) has it under control:

  • 0xc0000034
  • language packs problems
  • 0xC000022
  • 0x800f0a13 or 0x800f0826
  • 0x800f0904
  • 0x8004a029
  • CheckSUR has been updated
If you can't find him by making an Internet search then you shouldn't be playing with SP1

I do not have the option of downloading Windows 7 SP1 when I use Windows Update.

It appears that my 2 week old Acer AS1430-6436 cannot be updated with SP1.

When I called Acer support I was told they do not answer to any updates on drivers and I will have to pay for any trouble shooting.

I think that it is something to do with Microsoft Support Bulletin kb/2498452 - I can't update as the Intel Graphics Driver 8.15.10.2119 is having conflicts with the Windows Update program.
